Every listing on Ventry Launch appears in one main category at no cost. This is your file's core category placement.
Expanding your category presence
To increase visibility across the platform, you can add up to 3 extra categories for $5 per slot. Each additional category gives your listing traction in new discovery paths, putting your deal flow in front of investors browsing different verticals.
How to add categories
You have two windows to purchase extra category slots:
- During submission, on the plan step when you first file your listing
- After launch, via /account/listings under Categories
Once payment clears, select which categories you want on record. Your listing appears in each immediately—no waiting period. You remain on file across all chosen categories until you modify your selection.

- Do I pay per extra category or all at once?
- You pay $5 for each additional category slot you add, up to a maximum of 3 extra categories.
- When do I choose which extra categories to appear in?
- You select your extra categories after payment completes. Your listing shows in them straight away.
- Can I add extra categories after I've launched?
- Yes. Visit /account/listings and go to Categories to purchase and add extra slots at any time.
