Why is my listing held without a complete founder file?

Your founder profile must be finished before any listing can go live. Complete it and your product launches automatically.

Updated

Profile completion gates your launch

Your product cannot go live until the founder profile at /account/founder is on record as complete. This applies whether you drafted, submitted and paid for the listing or not. The listing itself is not lost—it stays in your account and publishes the moment your profile is finished.

What the profile demands

You must supply:

  • A photograph (with a one-line caption)
  • Full name
  • Title or role
  • Country
  • A biography of at least 80 characters
  • At least one personal link (your website or personal social account; company pages do not count)

City and a founder story link are optional additions.

Your scheduled week stays intact

If you paid for a specific week and that week has not yet arrived, we hold it for you. Complete your profile and the listing launches in that week as paid. If the week has already passed, your listing goes live this week (paid) or enters the next free-queue week (free); we flag this when you finish. No refund is issued for passed weeks.

Bringing in co-founders

Invite co-founders via the Team section at /account/founder. They appear on your product only once their own profile is complete. Each co-founder must have their profile on file before they show on the listing.

Questions people ask

Will I lose my listing if my profile is incomplete?
No. Your listing waits in your account and publishes automatically the moment your profile is complete. Any paid week is preserved if it has not yet arrived.
What counts as a personal link for the profile?
Your own website or personal social media account. Company pages and product pages do not count.
When do co-founders appear on my listing?
Once they have completed their own founder profile. Until then, they will not show on the product, even if invited.
